Cyprus is an island in the Eastern Meditteranean sea which for centuries have been serving as a significant trading hub
between Europe, Africa and the Middle East. The strategic position of Cyprus has made it a target for invators and throughout
history it has been conquered several times.
The First people that arrived here were the Mycenaeans, an ancient greek kingdom, the Phoenicians, Egyptians, Assyrians and Persians
followed after. Alexander the Great got a hold of the island until King Ptolemy took it over from him.
